If you strain at the boundaries of a conventional lifestyle — and you’re ready to break loose and do the hard work of converting your dreams into reality…

Time to Zoom – What the Big Dawgs Don’t Teach You

Rocky Tower - Guadalest, SpainAre you ready to stop preparing, and actually do the work you dream of?

What does your dream life look like?  Do you want to…

  • Start a small business and leave a successful corporate job?  Or…
  • Start a little chocolate shop in your neighborhood? Or…
  • Travel or live anywhere in the world — and still make a great living doing work you love?

Whatever it looks like, you know for certain that your dream life doesn’t involve answering to another corporate boss or punching someone else’s time clock.

There’s another kind of life you want to live.  One where you write the script.  And you can see yourself doing great work, feeling satisfied, and enjoying time with friends and family.  It’s not hard to imagine.  But it’s plenty hard to do.

You’ve tried, right?  You’ve attended teleseminars, bought info products (that are now gathering dust on your shelf), and maybe you even have a coach or are part of a mastermind program.

But you’re still going nowhere.

Do you look at successful  people who are living their dreams and think they have some “secret sauce” that you have yet to discover?

THEY DO!  (But it’s not what you think.)

The only difference between you and them is that they have learned the four cornerstones of success.  The things that most business schools, coaches, and online gurus don’t teach you:

  1. Mindset
  2. Goal Reaching
  3. Work Habits
  4. Tech  Savvy

You have everything in you that you need, to create the work that you dream of. There’s just one, big, all-important question (and no, this is not marketing hype or some manipulative reverse-psychology ploy).

ARE YOU READY TO DO THE WORK?

That’s the most important question you can ask yourself.  And nobody can push or cajole you. You’ll know when you’re ready.  And “ready” means you are willing to:

  • Look hard at yourself in the mirror
  • Recognize and call out Resistance
  • Change your mindset and your way of working

You can buy as many info products as you want, sign up with as many coaches as you can afford, and attend conferences every week for years.  But until these 4 cornerstones are in place, you are – to be blunt – throwing your money away.

Let me be really clear:

  • This way of working is hard, and it takes time and practice.  It is not for everybody. If you’re not ready, it’s not something to judge yourself about. It’s OK.
  • I am not saying that you don’t need to learn from the best coaches and leaders.  I am saying that until you learn these 4 cornerstone skills, you will not make the best use of any program or coach that you work with.  These skills are Dream Success 101.

I Know — Because I’ve Done It!

You want to learn to swim from somebody who knows how, right?  Well, for the past 7 years I’ve been working with some of the biggest – and smallest – names in online business.  I’ve been on the inside of those businesses, as a consultant, technical manager, and project manager.

I have a thriving, 6-figure business as an Online Business Developer, and I live my dream every day — I do the work I love, I choose my clients, and I live several months a year in Spain.  And I want to “pay it forward” –  I want others to have the incredible experiences that I have, in whatever flavor that is for them.

This is where Passion Meets Practical.

Together, we’ll build a small village, stone by stone, to support you in doing the work you’ve always wanted to do. Here you will find resources, blog articles, and as much information as we can pull together, to help you:

  • Do Great Work
  • Build the life you dream of
  • Live in the sweet spot where your work intersects with your life
  • Wake up every morning excited to get started and ready to break the mold.

“Suspending self-judgment doesn’t just mean blowing off the ‘you suck’ voice in our heads. It also means liberating ourselves from conventional expectations – from what we think our work ‘ought to’ be or ‘should’ look like.  Stay stupid.  Follow your unconventional, crazy heart.”   Steven Pressfield,   Do the Work

Learn to Zoom With Us

Zooming is a term I’ve borrowed from Seth Godin, and added my own twist.  It means that we challenge “business as usual” –  we zoom beyond what is conventional and, like a camera lens, we zoom out to see the big goals, the destination we’re shooting for, and then we zoom in to focus on the details that will get us to where we want to go.

Zooming is not for everybody.  For some it feels scary, risky, and just plain wrong.  But for some of us, it’s essential.

You’ve probably read all the claims of complete systems and turnkey solutions that are guaranteed to turn you into an overnight sensation. Some of those programs are good.  Others, not so much, but none of them will work if you don’t know how to use them properly.

So… Before you…

  • Sign up for another info product that will gather dust on your shelf,
  • Tape pictures of your future yacht on your mirror, or
  • Pay for another [fill in the blank] expert…
